Fees and Expenses
Certain fees and out-of-pocket expenses are associated with sports participation at Billy Mills Middle School.
These fees help cover many things, including but not limited to: coaches' salaries, equipment, transportation, uniforms, and the Lawrence Public Schools catastrophic insurance premiums for athletes.
PARTICIPATION FEES:
Each athlete must pay a participation fee ($50) or "pay-to-play" fees. The participation fee is accessed per sport. Participation fees will be billed to the student's account once final rosters are submitted and should not be paid in anticipation of earning a spot on a team or roster.
OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES:
Each sport may also have out-of-pocket expenses associated specifically with that sport. They may range from $10 to $100+.

Athletic fees may be paid in the BMMS Finance Office M-F 8:00am-4:00pm
